Our environmental policy is based on the principles of environmental impact minimisation, continuous improvement, efficient use of raw materials and open communication. Our certified environmental and quality systems support operational monitoring and systematic improvement in our production units.
We invest in improving our energy efficiency and use of bioenergy as part of Metsäliitto Group’s climate programme. Already 97 per cent of the energy used in our production units is wood based. We use the raw material in an energy and material efficient way, utilising the best available technologies.
