Sawn timber products

Thanks to our careful grading and drying process and excellent machining of high-quality sawn timber, Finnforest provides only the best raw materials for industrial partners.
Finnforest manufactures highly durable finished joinery components which offer the most sustainable and competitive solutions according to customer needs. Our product selection offers versatile cut-to-size and special-dimensioned sawn goods and components for door, door frame and window manufacturers. All components are made of Finnforest Nordic pine and spruce. This high-quality slowly grown sawn timber, with narrow annual rings, has good moisture resistance and is a good insulator, which enhances the thermal performance of windows and doors.
All Finnforest pine products are also available in impregnated form.
Structural timber
Finnforest structural timber is an ideal raw material for the furniture and joinery industries as well as for load-bearing structures in timber frame houses. The competitiveness of our structural timber is based on the properties of the raw material and its machinability. Slowly-grown Nordic softwood has an excellent strength/weight ratio.
ThermoWood
High durability, reduced thermal conductivity and increased dimensional stability properties make ThermoWood the ideal material for products that are exposed to harsh weather conditions, such as window and door frames. ThermoWood is also a light material which has a silky smooth surface after machining.
